Mauchline Transfer Ware Spool Box w/ Thimble & Clarks Spools Scenes of Hastings

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This spool & thimble box has three scenes of Hastings; Hastings Castle, Parade Hastings and Eversfield Place, Hastings. The box has four compartments, three for spools and one for a thimble.
The
box is in excellent overall condition, I see no signs of wear or damage. Even the Moroccan leather is intact.
This box measures approximately 4.5" wide, 2 3/8" deep and 1.75" tall. White spots, if any, are camera glare. Successful buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance and payment must be received within ten (10) business days of the close of the auction or the sale may be voided.
